Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Tether (USDT), USD Coin (USDC) and other assets accepted by the VASP. Many deals use stablecoins for price stability.

Can foreigners buy?

Yes. In the so-called restricted zone (within 50 km of the coast and 100 km of the borders) foreigners acquire real estate through a bank trust (fideicomiso); inland they can typically deed directly. A public notary confirms the regime that applies to each property's exact location.
